Michael Basayne, MBA

Michael is the Regional Director for The Rainier Group’s Northern California consulting operation. Michael assists with planning and implementing lifetime ownership and management change. Concurrently, he helps individuals affected by those changes to make complex personal and business financial decisions.
Michael has over 25 years experience with the issues that impact successful private business owners. Prior to joining The Rainier Group Michael founded and served as managing principal of Lone Oak Investments, LLC concentrating on performance planning metrics and organizational development. His consulting career is complemented by a multi-disciplinary background in banking, including Union Bank of California’s Corporate Banking Group.
Michael’s academic accomplishments include graduation from the University of California at Berkeley (Bachelor of Arts), St. Mary’s College of California (Masters of Business Administration), and University of Washington’s prestigious Pacific Coast Banking School.
Michael and his family reside in the Napa Valley where he is a Napa City Planning Commissioner, a Director of the Volunteer Center of the Napa Valley, a Director of Rotary International, a member of the Legislative Action Committee of the Napa Chamber of Commerce, and is an active alumni of Leadership Napa Valley.
